Below is my current favorite video in regards to explaining tattoo removal. It's about 7 years old now and so some of the details are outdated (you now only need to wait four weeks between tattoo removal sessions) it's very informative in the overview. One of the best features of the newer Quanta lasers (*which happens to be the laser we use at Major Laser Removal) is that instead of a gaussian beam (circle) we use a Top-Hat beam which is square. When a competitor uses a gaussian beam overlap is required to completely cover the tattoo, this means there is unnecessary impulses on skin that has already been treated; this creates discomfort initially then prolonged recovery times. When you administer impulses from a Top Hat laser correctly, there is no need to overlap as the squares that are "laid" can be stacked evenly like bricks or pavers. Our laser profile greatly reduces the possibility of "heat stacking" (overlapping) which has been a huge downside to tattoo removal in the past The practice that created this video has gone out of business, so instead of going to their website to book service or questions you are already at the correct website for the best tattoo removal clinic in the Pikes Peak region. |
